My Breast Cancer Support’s mission is to provide financial and emotional support to breast cancer patients and their families on the seacoast of New Hampshire and in southern Maine.
My Breast Cancer Support was Founded in 2005 (originally named “BreastCancerStories” which was an online story-sharing site where people going through treatment could stay in touch with loved ones and connect with others who were going through (or went through) similar experiences).
In 2011, My Breast Cancer Support was officially renamed and shifted focus to help local patients on the seacoast of New Hampshire and in southern Maine. We do this by partnering with hospitals and cancer centers to distribute New Patient Bags, fulfill Patient Assistance Grants, and supply gift cards to Hope Chests. MBCS offers emotional support through The Thrivers’ Tribe, a private support group for local breast cancer survivors and thrivers. MBCS also partners with local organizations with similar goals to wrap our arms around our neighbors, sisters, and their families as they deal with breast cancer diagnoses and the impact of treatments.
My Breast Cancer Support is an independent NH 501C3 non-profit organization with no affiliation to any local or national cancer organizations.
