DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 18\, 2026 | 9:00 AM \nCelebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a morning of running\, family fun and community spirit at the Kensington Pink Race\, presented by the Kensington Elementary PTO. \nThis family-friendly event will take place entirely on the Kensington Elementary School track and offers activities for runners and walkers of all ages. Participants are encouraged to wear pink and help fill the track with support for local families affected by breast cancer. \nRace Options\n\n1-Mile Fun Run: Four laps around the track\, open to all ages\nKids’ Sprint/Walk: One lap\, approximately 400 meters\, for children in PreK through first grade\nFamily Laps: Easy\, noncompetitive laps for parents\, grandparents and children to enjoy together\n\nParticipants will start in age-group heats to keep the event safe and fun for everyone. \nEvent Details\nSunday\, October 18\, 2026\nCheck-in begins at 8:30 AM\nRaces begin at 9:00 AM \nKensington Elementary School\n122 Amesbury Road\nKensington\, NH 03833 \nRegistration\nRegistration is $30 per family and covers every participating member of your household. Registration includes: \n\nEntry into the fun run or sprint/walk\nPancake breakfast following the race\nCoffee and hot chocolate\n\nRegistration closes on Saturday\, October 17\, at 7:00 PM. Race registration fees support Kensington Elementary PTO programs. \nSchedule\n8:30 AM: Check-in\n8:45 AM: Opening remarks and warm-up lap led by the KES cross-country team\n9:00 AM: Kids ages 5 and under — one lap\n9:10 AM: Kids ages 6 and older — one mile\n9:30 AM: Adults — one mile\n9:45 AM: Optional noncompetitive event — one lap to one mile \nA pancake breakfast with coffee and hot chocolate will follow the races. \nParticipants may make a separate donation to My Breast Cancer Support while registering. One hundred percent of these donations will directly support local breast cancer patients and their families. \nYour generosity helps provide meaningful financial and emotional assistance—including help with groceries\, transportation and household expenses—so patients can focus on their health and treatment. \nPink Kensington hats featuring the town’s signature “K” will also be available to purchase for $20 on race day. \nWear pink\, bring the family and join the Kensington community for a meaningful morning of movement\, celebration and support! \nREGISTER OR DONATE
